My love for music was embedded in me at an early age. My parents loved music and would get out the records at night and dance in the living room. I would watch them and listen to the oldies they danced to. To them, I owe a great deal of thanks for showing me the musical world. Before I was 12, I probably new more Beatle songs than most adults. None of my childhood friends even knew who Ray Charles was.

I knew that I wanted to be on stage singing or playing guitar after watching La Bamba. Sleepwalk (from the movie) is still one of my favorite songs.

My first musical experience, was playing the Trumpet for the Muffley band (GO MUSTANGS!). I played the Trumpet until my Sophmore year, when I decided that marching around on a field, while blowing into a piece of brass was just not my thing!

I also owe a great deal of thanks to a girl I once worked with (Beth). She had a big influence on me, not only in music, but also in discovering who I am. She taught me that it was easy to be yourself, and to be open-minded.

I picked up the guitar when I was about seventeen not knowing anything about it. For months I struggled along trying to learn anything I could, (like how to tune the damn thing). Then I met Roe Skidmore whom has become a good friend of mine. He took me under his wing and showed me how to play the basics. From that we worked on to different things. I am very grateful to Roe for this.

From this new knowledge I put little meaningless arrangements together. I also shared this information with my long time friend Trent and soon he was learning how to play guitar with my help. During this time Todd and I would get together and "work on songs" in his apartment. For months we worked on the same song (which is now called Life Is Good). Time went by and we probably had 3 of 4 songs put somewhat together when we decided to incorporate Trent.

Trent and I worked with Trevor and helped him learn the bass. Eventually we were lucky enough to get Blayne as our drummer. I would like to send appreciation to that kid because he drives and drives and drives.

All of us have been working hard on this though, and the other 4 members of Intrynsik are my family. We all grew up together and here we are with a kick ass band called Intrynsik.

I love to play music, I love to be on stage with the boys, I love playing guitar, I love to see fans singing our songs, and to the fans I love you all!!
